A brush fire burning in the San Gabriel Mountains grew to nearly 100 acres Thursday evening as crews worked to contain the blaze. The fire, dubbed the East Fire, was reported around 2:15 p.m. when it had burned about 5 to 7 acres near Glendora Ridge Road and could be seen from the 210 and 605 freeways, according to Dana Dierkes, a spokesperson for the Angeles National Forest. By 3:30 p.m., the blaze spread to about 75 acres. #BrushFire The #EastFire is estimated at 5-7 acres in size. It is visible from I-210 and I-605.
