(Left) Sandra Low's surrealistic 'Dream Connect San Gabriel' uses brushwork in the style of traditional Chinese painting to present a culinary vision of the city with historical roots and contemporary features. The artwork is on view in the Union Station Passageway Art Gallery. (Middle) William Acedo titled his artwork 'Jardin de las Rocas,' meaning Garden of Rocks, the name given to the area by early Spanish settlers. It celebrates the rich confluence of landscapes, cultures and histories that intersect within the city of Irwindale.
