GLENDORA — U.S. Forest Service firefighters said Saturday they have expanded a line of vegetation around a brush fire in the hills above Glendora. 'A total of 270 firefighters from the Angeles National Forest have continued to work hard in steep terrain and hot, dry conditions to extinguish the East Fire,' the Angeles National Forest tweeted about 8 p.m. 'This fire is currently 150 acres in size and is 80% contained.' Officials said the East fire is not threatening any structures or homes in the area.
