While there was little change in most 2022 Election races in the San Gabriel Valley and Whittier, the margins in one race each in the Glendora Unified School District closed dramatically on Monday, Nov. 14, the fourth update by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder's Office. The county counted 191,312 ballots, again all vote-by-mail. The estimated number of outstanding ballots to be processed is 655,300. The next ballot count update will be on Tuesday. The biggest change came in trustee area 2 for Glendora Unified School District where education advocate Monica Garcia is only six votes behind real estate agent Shaunna Elias.
